　　第 38 屆「NAACP 有色人種促進協會」各類得獎名單在美國時間 2 號揭曉，電影類除了「最佳男主角」佛瑞斯特懷特克，與《夢幻女郎》的珍妮佛哈德森實至名歸，其它獎項都可以嗅出「自爽性質」的濃厚味道。

　　「最佳影片」由激勵人心的《當幸福來敲門》擊敗《夢幻女郎》、《血鑽石》等片奪得。「最佳女主角」方面則是大爆冷門，由《拼出新世界》中年僅十四歲的 Keke Palmer 擊倒潘尼洛普、碧昂絲、昆恩拉蒂法等眾多前輩拿下「最佳女主角」，「最佳男配角」則是《血鑽石》中奮不顧身直闖叛軍，一心想救回兒子的吉蒙杭蘇獲獎。

　　「有色人種促進協會」的電影類獎項一向都很奇特，為了符合本獎項的宗旨 -「促進」。所以入圍者或作品，只要故事題材稍微比其它入圍者「更可憐」、「更撼動人心」，即使演技普普通通，人氣不高的演員或不熱門的電影便可以輕鬆勝出。最明顯的就是《拼出新世界》奪下「最佳傑出編劇」，以及「最佳影片」的《當幸福來敲門》來做證明。

　　值得一提的是《夢幻女郎》跨區獲獎，在音樂類「最佳專輯」這個獎項，《夢幻女郎》以「原聲帶」之姿，擊敗其它四張葛萊美「專輯」作品，更凸顯《夢幻女郎》在音樂圈中佔有一定的價值。
